Atlanta Southern Hospitality

Atlanta, Georgia was an interesting city to visit. It was always on my bucket list from hearing about the entertainment, restaurants and attractions. I will admit being a fan of Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta definitely helped solidify me booking the flight.

When I landed at Atlanta Hartsfield–Jackson International Airport, it seemed like a huge maze and it was extremely busy. The MARTA's Airport Station really threw me for a loop. Bless the attendant who saw the look of confusion on my face and helped me navigate the area. After getting to my hotel, I decided to visit the World of Coca-Cola Museum, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and the CNN Studio Tour. I would recommend all three attractions, but I would visit the civil rights center either first or second if you plan to do multiple attractions in one day. It was both eye-opening and emotional to learn about.

The hotel I stayed in had a nice restaurant with tasty desserts. For the remainder of the trip I did eat at local spots with amazing flavor and flare. The atmosphere in Atlanta is one I appreciate and will make it a travel destination with friends in the future.
