Depending on my mood, I switch back and forth between hot and cold drinks, with the seasons playing a factor. For this recipe, it's with a twist. Brown sugar infused sweet cream cold foam! I have a sweet tooth naturally and the brown sugar was already in my kitchen pantry. I use it for desserts and for bacon, yes bacon! So adding it to my coffee made sense.

Don't get me wrong, I love pumpkin spiced flavored coffee drinks (and everything) especially during fall. I just wanted to switch it up for my morning brew. This cold foam recipe can also be used for iced lattes and chai teas, if you don't want to use cold brew.

Ingredients You Will Need:

  • Splenda Brown Sugar Blend

  • Vanilla Syrup

  • Cold Brew Coffee

  • Heavy Whipping Cream

  • 2% Milk

  • Frother

  • Mason Jar

How to Make Brown Sugar Sweet Cream Cold Foam:

Combine 1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream, 1/4 cup of 2% milk, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla syrup into a cup or mason jar. Use the frother to mix ingredients until foam consistency. If you don't have a frother you can simply put a lid on the jar or cup and shake until foamy!

I purchase cold brew coffee prepackaged from the grocery store either the Chobani or Starbucks brand. There are also recipes online if you prefer to make your own.

Next, add your cold brew coffee (about 8 ounces) to a glass over ice. Pour your delicious brown sugar cold foam & garnish with a sprinkle of brown sugar. Any foam you have left, you can store in the refrigerator and give it a good shake for your next daily coffee!

This recipe is amazing because it has the perfect balance of sweetness and bold coffee taste with every sip. Making coffee at home is not only a cost saver but it allows you to try creative ideas. Comment and share your favorite coffee drinks below!
