Cajun Shell Pasta is a delicious meal, here's how it's made.
Ingredients You Will Need:
Six Chicken Tenders
1 Package Frozen Shrimp
1 Pint of Heavy Cream
8oz of Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Old Bay Seasoning, Cajun Seasoning, Thyme, Pepper, Salt, Basil, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder
1 White Onion
1 Red & Green Bell Pepper
1 Garlic Clove
1 Box of Jumbo Shells
1 Package of Spinach
Prep/Cooking Time:
1 hour and 45 minutes
How to Make Cajun Shell Pasta:
Season chicken tenders and half a pack of shrimp (thaw & peel off tails) with seasonings listed above (a tablespoon of each). Once done cooking, move chicken & shrimp to separate plate to cool. Then use the same skillet to make your sauce, chop and add red and green bell peppers, onion and garlic clove. Then combine pint of heavy cream, 6oz parmesan cheese, seasoning listed above again but this time I only used a teaspoon of each. Stir slowing on low heat! Let everything melt to get the right consistently.
Then add chicken and shrimp to sauce and stir. In a separate pot, boil three quarts of water then add box of shells (or you can use whatever pasta you like). Cook for 12-15 minutes then strain shells and let cool. Grab one more pan then place shells inside and pour sauce onto shells. Sprinkle the remaining 2oz of parmesan on top, place in oven broil for 10 minutes on 340 degrees. Let cool then serve! I enjoy this dish with a side of spinach. You can also cook the spinach in your sauce.
